Fitting Yourself for a Touring Bike (Video)

For this week’s video, I show you 4 things to look for when you are trying to fit yourself on a touring bike. If you intend on taking long touring trips, getting a correctly fit bike will go a long way in providing you the most comfortable ride. This will help you know what to look for while you are shopping at your local bike shop. As I mentioned in my video, ask if your local touring bike shop will help you with the bike fit and see if the cost of the bike fit can go towards purchasing a bike. Just remember that you will have your own preferences even after you are fitted. It took me about 2 years to have my bike fit dialed down to what it is right now. I couldn’t be more happy with my setup, and I would not trade it for anything right now.
